What good is exercise?

ree

We all know that exercise is good for our bodies. It is essential for clearing the cobwebs out of our minds. Exercise helps with clarity and thought processes. It also helps with the release of the feel good hormone endorphins. But wait, there’s more…

Although exercise can push you to a point of exertion, it can also be a catalyst for revitalization. The blood pumping through the heart and all the veins in your body traveling and releasing oxygen to your cells, is almost like a cleanse for your inner being. That cleanse also includes your mind and all the blood vessels in all the nooks and crannies or sulcus of the brain. One could liken this cleansing process to an oil change or deep cleaning of your home.

Anything worth doing is usually hard. My motto again is so applicable. Working out enriches every part of your body, which is your vehicle, your temple. Throughout the process of exercising your body, every aspect of you entire body is required, utilized, and cleansed. Exercise jump-starts your entire mind, body and soul. Recharge your battery and see the impact it can have on your day to day life, exhilarating.

While exercising God’s commands, we fulfill His desires and enrich our lives. Learning self-control is such a valuable lesson to learn through sport and exercise that can be applied to every day of our lives. Remember to take time to submerge and practice reading and digesting the word of God today and everyday. It’s a game changer.

1 Corinthians 9:25

“Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.”
