How do the comfortable make in to heaven?

What a challenge it would be to be given everything your heart desires before you had faith the size of a mustard seed. The thing that most of us forget is that this life is fleeting. The comfort and luxuries we enjoy are a gift, but they can also be a curse. If we are not required to work in this world to reep what we sow, how will we have faith enough to believe that there is a God who longs to bless us with His greatest gift, love?
There are so many stumbling blocks that can present themselves in our lifetime. Our goal should be to achieve life eternal. Putting our trust in man or woman can give us a false security, for man and woman are prideful. A man or woman who have achieved success in this world's view can believe falsely that their achievements should be acknowledged and praised. The truth is not always sought.
If there is one thing I have witnessed with success in this world or time in the limelight is that it is fleeting. As quickly as our society can build up an individual who is talented, the same is true for the fall. Our world loves to find fault and highlight the ill-will that each and every one of us have committed, especially those who are in the limelight.
No wonder, God planned for a messenger to reveal His Son to His people in this world. Jesus did not go around tooting His own horn. On one occasion He revealed Himself to the Samaritan woman at the well. He did not go around preaching to those who gathered to listen to Him and receive His miracles that He was the Messiah here to save all of those who believed in Him, the Son of Man.
Those who sought to put Him to death, were prideful men. Their hearts were hardened and they did not believe in God or the Son of God. They held onto their knowledge and power that they had gained throughout their lives. They did not regard all the good Jesus had done while He was with them. Instead, they aimed to find fault in Him and make it known to others.
This is why it is so important for each and every one of us to focus on the goodness in our lives and in others. We should aim to lift each other up, not tear others down. Previous offenses each one of us have committed will be addressed by the one who matters, Jesus Christ. Those who are of the world will live as the world lives. Those who follow Jesus will be separated from following the ways of the world. Eternal life is our reward if we believe in Jesus, the Son of God, who was sent to "forgive us all our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." These are His words that He gave to us to pray, while He was with His disciples.
John 5: 43- 47
"I have come in My Father's name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you---Moses, in whom you trust. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?"
