Do you feel like you wait a long time for what you hope for in this life?

Time is a different kind of measure for us and for God. The Jews waited 400 years to be set free from slavery in Egypt. The waiting game doesn't feel like a good game to play at all. Who likes to wait?


As we wait, God is giving us an opportunity to grow. He longs for us to spend time with Him in this time of waiting. He also promises us that He will give us the desires of our heart. However, we are His heart. He longs for each and every one of His children to return to Him. We must be faithful and draw near to Him.


During this time of waiting, draw near to God, He will not disappoint. It is your time to work on completely and solely trusting Him. He has set your plan in motion. Now learn to sink into His goodness with focus on what He says is important in this lifetime, not what the world throws at you.

Find comfort in His word and in prayer.


"Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."
