How amazing that we have a day dedicated to heart recognition and love! As I write this I am sitting outside the Wake Med Heart & Vascular Center waiting for my Dad to be wheeled out and to take him home. He had a procedure on his heart yesterday by a talented and skilled surgeon who was able to ablate the electrical impulses in my Dad’s heart to allow it to rewire and hopefully beat in sinus rhythm for a long time!
Without the heart, there is no life. My Dad’s cousin, whom he has been caring for for decades after she moved down to NC, had a heart attack Wednesday evening and passed away last night. Yet another heart event with her passing. We feel the emotions in our hearts for all that has transpired this week; feelings of love, and loss, and thanksgiving.
We are thankful for the opportunity to love and for those who dedicate their lives to honing their talents and learning skills to aid others to live longer and stronger. Blessings on you all today! Hoping you will take the opportunity to love others well, family, friends and strangers.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
-John 3:16
My phone wouldn’t post yesterday, and I wasn’t able to sit down at my computer. Blessings today & everyday ♥️
