Do you feel grateful? What is the importance of prayer?

ree

Matthew 8: 8- 13

“For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your Kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

As we forgive our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power

And the glory forever. Amen.”

Jesus did give guidance and the words to pray to our Father God who knows before we ask, what we need. Who better than God, Himself to give us the words to pray to honor and give glory to our Maker. We are called to praise and give thanksgiving.

I remember and still have days where I wonder how my body will carry me through the day. The physical pain is evident and present. When you have had a realization that the gift of movement and caring for our own needs: walking, sight, hearing, feeding, bathing, cleaning, driving, are all gifts greater than we could have ever imagined, you embrace gratitude. Gratitude for the little things can get you moving and or help you to rest when needed.

Prayer helps us to connect with our Creator, and He asks us to pray. Use the words that Jesus relayed to us to pray to help give guidance or express gratitude for anything you may be thankful for.

I praise God for healing and restoring my thoughts to praise Him for the blessings that have overflowed in this lifetime. Thank you Eternal God the Father! He has Risen Indeed!✝️
