Have you been faced with doing something out of your comfort zone?

Most days I am forced to do things that are uncomfortable. I am a guarded person and feel vulnerable in new situations. I have learned to relate to others to make others feel comfortable and welcome because of my own insecurity. Therefore, my vulnerability has been a gift that I have cultivated to share with others.


We have a choice to make when we are faced with an obstacle. We can either learn how to overcome it or we can avoid it. If we face it head-on and keep practicing, we can become empowered. God calls us to use our gifts for the good of others. Maybe this is why we are given challenges, so that we can learn to better ourselves and bless others by sharing goodness.


1 Corinthians 7:7- “For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that.”
