Have you ever felt like you were living inside a picture?

This world has so many wonders and splendor that have been sprinkled around for us to enjoy. We enjoyed the beautiful countryside and mountain landscape of Virginia this past weekend with friends. We also hit up some wineries. Needless to say, we were utilizing all of our senses. Oh so beyond thankful to get to walk through the majestic landscape, to see the rolling mountains, to smell the fresh air, and taste the wonders that come from grapes grown in the proper environment.

While sitting at Dave Matthews Winery, it was as if we were living in a song setting. One of my friends said, “Look around, there is a song everywhere.” Songs use words to paint a picture in our minds.

The picture above captures the simplistic surroundings, an old green pickup truck , an old sprawling maple tree, and rolling hills with a small shed. If you are familiar with Dave Matthews, the images in the above picture somewhat fit his music and interpretation of a beautiful setting.

The blessings from friendship and time together can rejuvenate our souls and lift our spirits. God has blessed us with companionship. A reflection of His love that He longs to bestow on all of His children.

Jesus spoke to His disciples before He left this world with a blessing of love and joy:

As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

John 15: 9- 11
