Do you feel like you have all the time in the world?

God has blessed me abundantly! What are your blessings? Count them, each and every day, every single minute, every second.

This is a statement that I often made in my youth. A time when I was not responsible for meeting anyone else’s needs. A time when I could lounge on my bed on a Sunday afternoon listening to music until I fell asleep in a pool of sunlight. A time when I felt like I had all the time in the world.


Time is a baffling thing. Time can tend to drag on, and time can flyby. These concepts are often incorporated when referencing relationships between people. The time caring for a dependent child or parent tends to pass slowly. While, in the blink of an eye, those little souls that you looked after; fed, cleaned up, drove around, and put to bed, have moved on to their own chapter of life. What is left behind is memories of precious cherished moments in time.


The definition of time in the dictionary is “the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.” Time is invaluable. There is something to be learned, shared or received throughout the time we have here in this life. The hope is that we will learn what is right, just, and to love that which we will take with us when we leave this earth.


The challenge is that all humans are stubborn, and all believe they know what is best and right for their own lives. Very few grasp the fact that God is in control of each and every one of our lives. God instilled time for us to train and learn His discipline. The answers to a life filled with love, forgiveness, hope, joy, and peace is found in His word, The Bible.


Time is a tool used to teach discipline. Are you making every effort to train your mind to hold onto the hope that Jesus brought with Him through His short life? Jesus conquered sin, and nailed it to the cross. He has taken all of our burdens with Him. He longs for you to call out to Him and repent. This time, right now, is all you have, ENJOY!


“Finally brothers and sisters,
