What makes you spring into action?

Spring is that time of year that is a reset. It allows us to visually see the growth of new life. We feel the pleasant temperatures and warmth of the sun that invigorates us and encourages us to keep on going and enjoy this life. Human beings are in all actuality lazy by nature. If you don't think so, why does so much of our lives require maintenance?
Every morning we wake up with a film that has formed in our mouths, and a lovely fragrance emits from various places on our body. We all have hair and nails that grow constantly. Every single day, cleaning, styling, and dressing up our new appearance to face a new day is occurring everywhere all over the world. Shopping, prepping, cooking and cleaning up after 3 meals a day to fuel our bodies is also a daily necessity. We are required to work to live this life. Not only that, we must cleanup our messes, as to not be overcome with unsurmountable chaos and unrest.
I have spent every day with my Mom this week, as my Dad takes a much needed break, I am all the more reminded of the routines of the day. She is in full need of support for all of her daily activities of life now. Someone else must maintain her, clean her, dress her, change her, and feed her. She is in good care, however, there are so many other men and women in need of that same care where she lives. If there is a lazy worker on duty, she does not get her needs addressed or met.
The true testament to God's plan, to restore the initial world that He created, was to give us a Savior who would redeem all of our sins, all the way back to Adam and Eve. It was satan who tempted them in the garden, where all was leisurely and provided. It was his evil ways that broke the way the world was designed. Now, we all face the daily challenges that were created when sin entered into the garden.
This Easter season we are all reminded of the sacrifice that this man Jesus, who was the son of God, made for all of us. He went to the cross baring no wrongful deeds, and took on every living beings sins, as He died a torturous death. He did all of this out of love for each and every one of us. But that is not the end of His story. Jesus rose from the dead. More than 500 people witnessed the resurrected Jesus, and this is recorded in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 15:6. Jesus is now ascended into heaven with God our Father; hoping, waiting, and longing to be united with each and every one of us when we leave this earth.
As green leaves and the buds of new life spring forth to remind us of new life, one that is beautiful and full of color, reflect on this new life that God longs for us to seek and to give to us. The weeds will come and need addressing, but try to focus on the beautiful plants that are more prolific. There are messes that need addressing all over this world, and yet, we can and will go to a new and beautifully restored place when we leave this life, but we must believe.
"For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, ' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.'" -Jeremiah 29: 11-13
