Does how you feel control your actions and words?

This is the month of love, February. I LOVE- Love. However, there are so many other emotions that human- beings feel throughout a day and a lifetime. Good emotions and not-so good emotions. Amazingly, God has used human emotions for His good and our own good. We should not only trust God, but our gut.
When Jesus was walking the earth, He was confronted with so many emotional people. He was not necessarily a man who was looked upon as a man who fit the mold of societies popular elite. Actually the opposite, He was a man who accepted all people. He did not try to be liked or fit in to the elite crowd of the day. He merely loved all who sought after Him. And those who sought after Him were those who longed to be encouraged, loved, healed, and restored.
Mary Magdelene, who was in deep despair, followed Jesus from the time He drove out demons from her mind, until the end of her life. Hannah prayed for a child daily with deep anguish and grief, and was blessed with a child. The woman who suffered from bleeding for 12 years, reached out and touched Jesus in hopes that just touching Him would heal her. Jesus felt someone touch Him, and turned and said, "Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well." She was healed from that hour. Mary and Martha's brother, Lazarus, was brought back to life by Jesus in hopes that they would believe in who He was. These are all recorded truths of challenges that individuals faced and were healed by Jesus. There are countless examples of Jesus healing people in the Bible. These are merely a few.
This week has been a challenging one for me with limitations on physical health. However, today I am able to write to you and hopefully encourage you because God has allowed me to do this today. No matter how much we suffer, we can still love because He gives us strength, and love. Go love well!
Do you know where your strength comes from?
"In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling." -Exodus 15:13
