An applicable quote for all by Hafiz- "This place where you are right now, God circled on a map for you."

It's wild how God leads us to uncomfortable places. Places we never thought we would be, and experiences we could not imagine that we would have to endure. We are called to use our talents. My talents have allowed me to be artsy, creative, compassionate and an athletic woman.

If you had told me in 2nd grade that I would be called to write a blog in my 50s, I would not have believed you. I remember sitting in the reading circle in kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade with butterflies in my stomach knowing that it would soon be my turn to read aloud. It wasn't until I had Kyle, our 3rd child, who was diagnosed with dyslexia, that I realized I also had this same challenge.

We have a choice. We can either push ourselves and work hard or we can feel sorry for ourselves and not grow. We are called to put ourselves in uncomfortable situations. It is a comfort to know that God is with me as I walk through these uncomfortable challenges in life.

Hebrews 13: 5- 6

"Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things

as you have.

For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'

So we may boldly say:

"The LORD is my helper; I will not fear."

This is where we were in our circle on the map today, still putting Kyle back together after a severe jet skiing accident- April 2023.
